For those South Australians If you are looking to do some offroading, or just cruising, send an email my way. I can let a few other locals know what's going on, and maybe be interested myself. I am always keen to meet new Subie owners. Building a good local network of subie owners in SA is just what we need. You can now join my Forum for more updates on things happening in SA. When you join please state that you live in South Australia so I can let you into the SA forum I have. Find the link to the forum on the left menu
There is a meet planned for the 17th of November at Loveday 4x4 park. Check out the thread over at AUSubaru or if your an SA member here check out the thread in the SA forum. I live south of Adelaide, so if you want to meet up, have a bash, send me an email. My brother has an 83 wagon, and his mate has an 88 wagon. Both lifted, and bigger tyres fitted. I used to normally go down to Fishery Beach for a bash offroad. But now that is all closed down. But there is a great track near Renella under the expressway. As for the legal side. I am not sure. Steve at Rising Sun Car Service normally helps organize a few outings a year. He and a bunch of others visit places like Talinga, which is a property at Peake (about 200km from the city.) And there's also some tracks up north of Adelaide. All of which should be great fun. And you'll get to meet other Offroaders, and subie owners. Some great fun can be had at Loveday 4x4 Adventures which is a property just south of Barmera. Check out the site and maybe plan a group for a bit of a trip. 4 or more people and it's only something like $50 a car for 4 days. Cheers, and enjoy your driving, weather it be onroad or offroad.
