Subaru Brumby (Brat) Rollbar and Bullbar
Written by Thomas Paine - Phizinza

The rollbar (should really be called a "sportsbar" as it wouldn't help in a roll) was from another Subaru at a wrecker. I believe it was a custom job too. It is simply made out of 3" stainless steel exhaust welded together with those 45degree mandrel bends you can buy. I got it cheap as the wrecker didn't think it was worth much, but I believe custom rollbars go for around $200 to $400 new. Closer to $400 for this one as it was a bit more complex then a normal pickup. I am looking to buy four 7" spotties for it soon, but I'm having trouble finding ones that look good and are cheap. I'm really just after a bull lamp style.

The bullbar I have on my Subaru Brumby was made by an Austaralian company (I don't know the name of) which made quite a few of them. They are a very popular addon to most Subaru's in Australia. The one I have is completely alloy and uses 1.5" alloy tubing along with 5mm thick alloy plate. Not much to say about it really. They are just to popular to be rare.
